Part-Time Custodian

Part-Time Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (Up to 25 hours per week)


Pay From: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour/DOQ


Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team. The Custodian will clean and maintain the front office area and other business areas including but not limited to bathrooms, conference rooms, labs and breakrooms while maintaining a clean, sanitary and safe work environment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Performs general cleaning and maintain all office areas, conference rooms, quality assurance lab, breakroom, and bathrooms.
  • Performs the following tasks (not an all-inclusive listing) to ensure a clean, sanitary, safe work and acceptable business environment:
  • Responsible for requisition of supplies for cleaning; janitorial inventory control.
  • Replenish all soap and paper dispensers as needed on a daily basis.
  • Clean all sinks in the bathroom and break rooms as needed.
  • Clean toilets and wipe down bathroom walls as needed.
  • Mop and wax floors in breakroom and bathrooms and front entryway as needed.
  • Dust and vacuum all front offices and conference rooms weekly as needed.
  • Empty all office and bathroom trashcans daily.
  • Wash all windows as needed.
  • Clean refrigerator out as needed.
  • Collection of recyclables (paper, cans, etc.) and placement to the appropriate disposal area.
  • Assists in examining facilities for safety hazards; reports deficiencies to Plant Manager, Human Resources and/or Director of Operations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Education and / or Work Experience Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of safety hazards, proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
  • Detailed-oriented and thorough
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment used in routine tasks in a safe manner
  • Ability to keep the facility clean and orderly
  • Previous custodian/janitorial work experience in a business environment a plus
  • Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of standing
  • Consistent walking movement from task-to-task areas
  • Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, climb, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
  • Must have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, attention to detail, neatness and thoroughness of work assigned or make general observations.
  • Must be able to work without direct supervision, self-motivation
  • Must be able to follow written directions
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with
  • the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

Molding Technician - Mold your career with TDI!!

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Injection Molding Technician to join our 2nd Shift team.


  • 1. Job Description: Set up, start, operate, trouble shoot and tear down plastic injection molding machines.
  • 2. General Responsibilities: Set up and tear down molding machines, Start and trouble shoot molding machines, Set up and tear down auxiliary equipment (drill press, air press welder etc.). Work with quality and engineering as needed, perform equipment safety checks, Assist in training of operators.
  • 3. Physical Requirements: While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands occasionally climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
  • 4. Competencies: Able to properly operate basic hand tools (wrench, screwdriver, hammer, etc.). Knowledge of/or ability to learn IQMS, press controls and auxiliary equipment. Ability to read and write English. Basic shop math. Must become fork truck operator certified. Items on this list will be verified or demonstrated through satisfactory completion of the defined probationary period.
  • 5. Other desired traits: Material handling experience, familiarity with Lean manufacturing, experience in a plastic injection molding environment, supervisory experience. Prefer 4-5 years’ processing experience.

Automation Engineer


Position Summary: This role applies engineering theory and principles to automation projects. Design, develop, install, test and train personnel on new automation projects.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Mechanical Design:


  • Develop custom machine concepts and detailed mechanical designs using SolidWorks
  • End of arm tools, retrofit machines, custom machines, automated cells, etc.
  • Create assemblies, detailed drawings, and bills of materials
  • Design for manufacturability, reliability, and ease of maintenance


Electrical Design:


  • Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
  • Ensure designs meet safety standards and industry best practices
  • Support troubleshooting and system validation during build and startup


Controls & Automation Programming


  • Develop, integrate, program and troubleshoot PLCs using:
  • On press and stand-alone robotics, machining centers, secondary equipment and other manufacturing equipment as needed.to meet customer requirements.
  • Design systems and fixturing to continually improve our operation.
  • Commission, debug, and optimize automated systems in-house


Project Execution & Coordination


  • Lead projects from concept through completion, including design, build, and startup
  • Develop execution plans leveraging available resources and technicians
  • Coordinate across teams to meet timelines, budgets, and customer expectations
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members via:
  • In-person meetings, phone calls, video conferencing
  • Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and EOL
  • Perform all other duties assigned by management and work responsibilities in a safe manner


Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:


  • Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering Tech, or a related technical field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
  • Foundational knowledge or exposure to automation, machine design, or controls systems
  • Experience with PLCs, robotics, or electrical/mechanical systems preferred
  • Ability to read or learn to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow in a hands-on engineering environment
  • Self-motivated with a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with engineers and technicians
  • Strong understanding of MRP systems, IQMS a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years with automation equipment/systems

Job Summary: 


We are seeking a proactive and experienced Working Production Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations within our production facility. The ideal candidate will ensure production efficiency, maintain safety standards, and lead/instruct a team of workers on the production floor. This role requires strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience with injection molding processes to ensure smooth shift transitions and continuous improvement.


2nd Shift: 2:30 p.m. – 11:15 p.m. (Monday – Friday)

Starting Pay from: $29.00 per hour/DOQ-DOE + Shift Diff: + $1.00/hour

(Base $28.00/hour PLUS $1.00/hour shift differential)

Responsibilities:


  • Lead and coordinate activities on the production lines
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies at all times
  • Operates company equipment - pallet jacks, hand carts, forklifts as needed
  • Assist in training new team members on equipment operation and safety procedures
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and work areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot mechanical issues and minimize downtime
  • Provides quality products per customer and Q.A. specifications through proper utilization of equipment and trained team members.
  • Meets or exceeds production schedules with quality products as planned by production control. Communicated all deviations of plan problems with the planner and Plant Manager.
  • Accountable for accuracy and completion of all production documents.
  • Ensure O.S.H.A. compliance along with corporate safety standards are met through training as directed by safety team.
  • Communicate to other shifts/departments by performing a walk through and/or using the Work Center Log at the beginning and end of each shift.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience in injection molding environment, preferably in a supervisory role
  • IQMS experience highly desired
  • Plastic Molding Injection experience: 3+ years
  • Mold Technician experience: 3+ years
  • Supervisory experience: 3+ years
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently
  • Familiarity with production processes including assembly, equipment maintenance, and quality control
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
  • Knowledge of safety regulations within a production or warehouse setting
  • Prior experience working with assembly lines or in a factory environment is preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively within departments
