1st Article Inspector - 1st Shift

  

Pay: From $24.00 per hour/DOQ


Job description:


Overview We are seeking a First Article Inspector to join our Quality Team. The First Article Inspector is responsible for the development of inspection methodology on new projects as well as evaluation of existing production inspection methods using the current available technology and ensuring all quality staff is adequately trained. Ability to work closely with production, engineering and supply chain to resolve quality issues. This role is central to maintaining compliance, product integrity, and supporting continuous improvement. Will be monitored and mentored by the Quality Engineer.


1st Shift Position: Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.


Duties


  • Develop and execute First Article Inspections, including measurement of parts to provide complete and accurate reports.
  • Develop and execute4 capability studies, as required to support the Project Team.
  • Work closely with the Quality Engineer to ensure a timely and efficient FAIR schedule and turnaround time.
  • Develop CMM & Vision System programs to ensure accuracy of reporting and prepare them for long-term In-Process use.
  • Interpret Blueprints and Engineering specifications, including GD&T.
  • Inspect sample parts, dimensionally and visually, according to the inspection plans already in place and communicate regularly with Process Engineer(s).
  • Create and update inspection plans as required.
  • Support In-Process Inspectors with receiving inspection, calibration and in-process inspection(s) as needed.
  • Develop and implement calibration of new gauges.
  • Develop and execute Special Projects as assigned by Quality Engineer/Quality Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications & Skills


  • High school diploma, or equivalent, and minimum of 5 years related to similar role experience
  • Proficient in CMM and Vision System programming
  • Knowledgeable in the use of all inspection equipment
  • Able to read, analyze and interpret blueprints, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Basic knowledge of SPC and control charting
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Must have good mathematical skills
  • knowledge of both English and Metric systems
  • excellent communication skills, attention to detail and follow through


Repetitive lifting of items up to 50lbs. Ability to stand, walk, or sit to extended periods of time

Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

  

    Pay: From $22.00 per hour/DOQ


Job description:


Overview


We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Team. As the Maintenance Technician you perform routine and non-routine maintenance and repair of machines, auxiliary equipment, buildings and facilities. You will also perform machine installations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on production and auxiliary equipment. Strong background in industrial maintenance, with experience in various mechanical and electrical systems.

1st Shift Position: Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

(Some weekend work/Overtime may be required)


Duties


  • Assist with installation and removal of equipment
  • Responsible for maintaining the physical building and grounds
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to minimize down time
  • Troubleshoot  and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and ammeters.
  • Fabricate  parts as needed to support machinery operations
  • Read  and interpret schematics to diagnose problems effectively
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
  • Operate  scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely for access during maintenance tasks
  • Adhere  to safety protocols related to high voltage, electrical work, and industrial mechanics


Skills


  • Experience working within a manufacturing facility environment with a focus on industrial maintenance 3+ years’ experience
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical  troubleshooting
  • Proficiency with schematics, technical drawings, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters and ohmmeters
  • Experience in stick welding a plus
  • Skilled in analysis of mechanical failures and implementing effective solutions
  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
  • Ability to operate scissor lifts safely; certification preferred

3rd Shift Production Supervisor

  Pay: From $25.00 per hour/DOQ


Job description:


Overview


We are seeking a proactive and experienced Production Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations within our production facility. The ideal candidate will ensure production efficiency, maintain safety standards, and lead/instruct a team of workers on the production floor. This role requires strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience with injection molding processes to ensure smooth shift transitions and continuous improvement.


3rd Shift Sunday - Thursday: 10:45 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.


Responsibilities


  • Lead and coordinate activities on the production lines
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies at all times
  • Operates company equipment - pallet jacks, hand carts, forklifts as needed
  • Assist in training new team members on equipment operation and safety procedures
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and work areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot mechanical issues and minimize downtime
  • Provides quality products per customer and Q.A. specifications through proper utilization of equipment and trained team members.
  • Meets or exceeds production schedules with quality products as planned by production control. Communicated all deviations of plan problems with the planner and Plant Manager.
  • Accountable for accuracy and completion of all production documents.
  • Ensure O.S.H.A. compliance along with corporate safety standards are met through training as directed by safety team.
  • Communicate to other shifts/departments by performing a walk through and/or using the Work Center Log at the beginning and end of each shift.


Requirements


  • Proven experience in injection molding environment, preferably in a supervisory role
  • IQMS experience highly desired
  • Plastic Molding Injection experience: 3+ years
  • Mold Technician experience: 3+ years
  • Supervisory experience: 3+ years
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently
  • Familiarity with production processes including assembly, equipment maintenance, and quality control
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
  • Knowledge of safety regulations within a production or warehouse setting
  • Prior experience working with assembly lines or in a factory environment is preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively within departments
