Summary:


We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead and support the engineering functions for our rapidly expanding plastic injection molding operations. This role combines leadership responsibilities with direct technical involvement in tooling, equipment, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solution development, tooling, injection molding manufacturing and team leadership.


Job Responsibilities:


This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary at any time.


  • Train, develop skills and monitor performance of engineering staff
  • Benchmark, propose and maintain the company as a leader in custom manufacturing and contract services, injection molding and engineering services
  • Propose the company’s forward progress to upper management as required
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and supply chain teams to meet operational goals.
  • Monitor engineering activity to verify conformance to customer requirement and implementation of standards and policies.
  • Initiate engineering standard procedures to ensure quality of services, that product and tooling meets the customer’s expectation and respond to request for quotation
  • Participate in development of tooling standards direction design review and recommend solutions for quality tools and programs for customer satisfaction
  • Initiate procedures to ensure sound project/product management, including procedures for financial program tracking, project management and on-time deliveries
  • Develop stronger skills and knowledge for the engineering staff in an effort for them to understand their respective jobs and the ability to accomplish the above duties and tasks related to their position
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Plastics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of experience in plastic injection molding, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • 5+ years of experience in tooling, processing, and CAD within the custom molding industry.
  • Strong knowledge of custom injection molding standards, practices, and manufacturing systems.
  • Experience with contract assembly services, BOM development, ERP software, and quality systems.
  • Familiarity with statistics, FMEA, cost accounting standards, and industrial engineering principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Scientific molding training.
  • Experience with automation and robotics in molding environments.

2nd Shift Production Supervisor


Pay: From $25.00 per hour/DOQ


Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Production Shift Supervisor to lead daily operations within our production facility. The ideal candidate will ensure production efficiency, maintain safety standards, and lead/instruct a team of workers on the production floor. This role requires strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience with injection molding processes to ensure smooth shift transitions and continuous improvement.


2nd Shift: 2:30 p.m. – 11:15 p.m. (Monday – Friday)


Responsibilities:


  • Lead and coordinate activities on the production lines
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies at all times
  • Operates company equipment - pallet jacks, hand carts, forklifts as needed
  • Assist in training new team members on equipment operation and safety procedures
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and work areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to troubleshoot mechanical issues and minimize downtime
  • Provides quality products per customer and Q.A. specifications through proper utilization of equipment and trained team members.
  • Meets or exceeds production schedules with quality products as planned by production control. Communicated all deviations of plan problems with the planner and Plant Manager.
  • Accountable for accuracy and completion of all production documents.
  • Ensure O.S.H.A. compliance along with corporate safety standards are met through training as directed by safety team.
  • Communicate to other shifts/departments by performing a walk through and/or using the Work Center Log at the beginning and end of each shift.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience in injection molding environment, preferably in a supervisory role
  • IQMS experience highly desired
  • Plastic Molding Injection experience: 3+ years
  • Mold Technician experience: 3+ years
  • Supervisory experience: 3+ years
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently
  • Familiarity with production processes including assembly, equipment maintenance, and quality control
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
  • Knowledge of safety regulations within a production or warehouse setting
  • Prior experience working with assembly lines or in a factory environment is preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively within departments

Job Summary: We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team. As an operator/assembler you will tend to use molding machines and secondary equipment used in production. Performs assembly operations.


General Responsibilities:


  • Read and follow routing instructions.
  • Observe product being produced for visual defects.
  • Responsible for proper packaging, labeling, and floor dispositioning of completed product.
  • Responsible for accurate counts.
  • Document scrap totals throughout the shift and enters in IQMS.
  • Transfer information to oncoming shift.
  • Participate in and suggest process improvement activities.
  • Perform all job responsibilities in a safe manner.
  • Performs all other duties assigned by Supervisor.


Physical Requirements:


  • Performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear.
  • The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel.
  • The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands occasionally climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • The employee must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to operate company equipment; forklift, hand carts, etc.
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close visions.


Competencies:
